STEVE MCKENZIE

An artist at heart, Steve McKenzie has found his creative niche in the interior design community, as a designer and namesake behind McKenzie Design LLC and online shop, steve mckenzie’s.

Steve, along with his wife Jill, launched their businesses in 2012 after Steve’s 20+ year tenure with Berkshire-Hathaway owned Larson-Juhl, a custom frame manufacturer and distributor, where he served most recently as the company’s President and CEO.

Steve’s keen eye and lifelong appreciation for design, starting when he was just a boy, made this a natural progression for his career. Since its inception, McKenzie Design LLC has completed projects throughout the southeast and Midwest, has been published in Atlanta magazine HOME, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, and has been recognized by other national publications, including House Beautiful and Traditional Home.

The inception of the interior design and home décor businesses have since parlayed into product line design with fabric, wallpaper, an upholstery collection, and a line of rugs through Verde Home.

JILL MCKENZIE

Jill brings a lively sense of style to McKenzie Design, usually with a nod to a smooth Scandinavian style. Having reared three children, three English Springer Spaniels and hosted countless dinner parties, she understands how spaces need to serve multiple purposes, so you can enjoy your friends and family. Jill believes that every room should have a clue into what makes you tick – a memento from a vacation, a family heirloom, a feather from a hike, something that tells a new acquaintance that you have a story to tell. Ask her about her family heirloom in the design conference room.
